Dear friends,

Welcome to the International Congress of Game Biologists!

We are sincerely glad to host this big and authoritative forum. Our intention is to achieve a wide and systemic interaction in game biology and implementation of joint projects and programs. The issues of ecology, environmental protection and wildlife conservation are increasingly important and call for coordinated actions by the governments and civil societies of all the countries. Non-rational management of biological resource, including game resources may result in lesser natural diversity and impoverishment of the Earth.

It is our common objective not to let it happen. I am confident that this Congress should contribute substantially to the solution to the entire set of nature management problems and promote active cooperation by game biologists.

I wish every success in their work, interesting meetings and fruitful discussions to the participants and guests of the Congress.
